Report: Student loan online marketplace raises $10M in series B funding

Credible, an online exchange for student and personal loans, raised $10 million in series B funding from a group of investors including a Prosper Marketplace Inc. executive and Regal Funds Management, Bloomberg reported.

The funding round was led by Regal and received participation from Prosper Marketplace President Ron Suber and Carthona Capital, who had previously invested in the company. In total, Credible has received $23 million in total funding, CrowdFund Insider reported.

Credible closed its series A funding in 2015, led by Soul Htite, who was a co-founder of LendingClub Corp., TechCrunch reported in 2015.
