* LendLease Group's Lendlease Global Commercial REIT is aiming to raise up to S$740 million from its planned listing on the Singapore stock exchange. The IPO of the BlackRock Inc.-backed real estate investment trust will comprise 841.3 million units priced at 88 Singapore cents apiece.
* Mapletree Investments Pte Ltd. and Mapletree Industrial Trust entered into a US$1.4 billion agreement with Digital Realty Trust Inc. for the acquisition of 10 Powered Base Building data centers and an 80% interest in a joint venture holding three hyperscale facilities in Ashburn, Va. The San Francisco-based vendor intends to use proceeds from the transactions to pay down debt, as well as fund future investments.
Greater China
* CK Asset Holdings Ltd. shareholders will meet Oct. 9 to consider the Hong Kong-listed developer's plan to buy all the shares it does not already own in British integrated brewer Greene King PLC for an aggregate cash consideration of £2.7 billion. If approved, CK Asset will pursue its plans to delist Greene King's shares from the London Stock Exchange and the Financial Conduct Authority.
* CBRE Global Investors' partnership with Logos Property Pty. Ltd. secured investment commitments totaling US$800 million from three to four Chinese insurance companies, as well as two offshore institutional investors, PERE News reported, citing three sources close to the situation. The targeted amount will be used by the partnership's yuan-denominated vehicle that will invest in Chinese logistics.
* Hopson Development Holdings Ltd. earmarked 2.9 billion yuan for an urban renewal project in Guangzhou, China, Guandian reported. The 24.71-hectare development will include residential, public and agricultural components.
* Australian coworking space operator Victory Offices Ltd. leased 23,600 square feet of floor space in The Center building in Hong Kong's Central district in its first foray overseas, the Hong Kong Economic Times reported. The company is paying HK$2.5 million a month in rent as an investment for new businesses and further expansion in Asia.
* Wharf REIC Finance (BVI) Ltd. plans to issue US$300.0 million of 2.50% guaranteed notes due 2024. The notes will be issued under the Wharf Real Estate Investment Co. Ltd.-guaranteed US$3.00 billion medium-term note program.
Singapore
* Keppel DC REIT agreed to purchase a 99% stake in the Keppel DC Singapore 4 data center for about S$384.9 million and the 1-Net North Data Centre for S$200.2 million. To finance the acquisitions, the Singapore-listed REIT will conduct a fully underwritten equity fundraising in a bid to raise approximately S$473.8 million.
* Chinese developer Longfor Group Holdings Ltd. said its plan to list US$850.0 million of 3.95% senior notes due 2029 on the Singapore Stock Exchange will come into effect Sept. 17. From the issuance, the company expects to raise US$842.1 million, which it plans to use for refinancing and corporate purposes.
Australia
* Sydney-based retail property owner Home Investment Consortium Co. Pty. Ltd. is planning to expand following its Australian IPO, from which it seeks A$300 million and a A$637.7 million market valuation, The Australian reported. The company is expected to spend approximately A$150 million to further boost its A$925 million property portfolio with a gross lettable area of 370,000 square meters.
Japan
* Mitsubishi Estate Co. Ltd. plans to develop a 12-story hotel in the city of Kobe, Jutaku-Shimpo-Sha reported. The property, which will bear the company's Royal Park Hotels & Resorts brand, is slated to open in 2021.
