China Life Insurance (Group) president resigns

Miao Jianmin resigned from all his roles at China Life Insurance Co. Ltd. and parent China Life Insurance (Group) Co., a China Life spokeswoman told S&P Global Market Intelligence.

Miao stepped down as vice chairman and president of China Life Insurance (Group) and as a nonexecutive director of publicly listed China Life Insurance Co. on April 7.

Miao has been appointed as vice chairman and president of People's Insurance Co. (Group) of China Ltd. He will succeed Wang Yincheng, who stepped down in March amid misconduct allegations.
