Yamatane Corp. said its normalized net income for the fiscal third quarter ended Dec. 31, 2014, amounted to ¥46.16 per share, an increase of 51.5% from ¥30.48 per share in the prior-year period.
Normalized net income, which excludes unusual gains or losses on a pre- and after-tax basis, was ¥490.5 million, a gain of 51.4% from ¥323.9 million in the prior-year period.
The normalized profit margin rose to 3.9% from 2.6% in the year-earlier period.
Total revenue declined year over year to ¥12.43 billion from ¥12.70 billion, and total operating expenses declined on an annual basis to ¥11.36 billion from ¥11.89 billion.
Reported net income increased 63.0% year over year to ¥489.0 million, or ¥46.02 per share, from ¥300.0 million, or ¥28.23 per share.
As of Feb. 13, US$1 was equivalent to ¥118.68.
