PE firm sells corporate performance management software provider for $1.1B

Thoma Bravo LLC said June 4 that it closed the sale of PowerPlan, Inc., a provider of corporate performance management software for companies in asset-intensive industries, to Roper Technologies Inc. for $1.1 billion.

Thoma Bravo acquired PowerPlan in 2015.

William Blair & Co. LLC served as exclusive financial adviser to PowerPlan, and Kirkland & Ellis LLP served as legal adviser to PowerPlan and Thoma Bravo on the transaction.

Thoma Bravo is a private equity firm focused on the software and technology-enabled services sectors.
