Centene Corp. appointed David Thomas executive vice president of markets, effective Oct. 13.

He replaces Christopher Bowers, who will retire at the end of 2019.

Thomas has served as regional senior vice president at Centene and CEO at Centene's New York-based subsidiary Fidelis Care New York.

HDI Global SE named Thomas Stamm chief underwriting officer for property/casualty at its Swiss subsidiary, effective Oct. 1.

He will be responsible for savings, property, casualty, engineering and accident and the SME and risk consulting areas.

His appointment is part of an organizational reform at HDI's branch in Switzerland.

Stamm most recently served as general representative and head of liability and financial lines for Northern Europe at American International Group Inc. in Switzerland.

Chubb Ltd. appointed Simon Priebbenow head of claims for Australia and New Zealand.

Priebbenow served as vice president of claims service development at Chubb's international division.
