Prospect Capital announces results of cash tender offer

Prospect Capital Corp. announced the results of its cash tender offer to purchase its outstanding 5.000% senior notes due 2019.

The offer expired 5 p.m. ET on June 13.

According to D.F. King & Co. Inc., the tender and information agent for the offer retained by the company, a total of approximately $147.0 million aggregate principal amount of the notes had been validly tendered and not validly withdrawn as of the expiration date.

The consideration to be paid for these notes is $1,020 for each $1,000 principal amount of such notes, plus accrued and unpaid interest on such notes. The settlement date of the notes is expected to be June 20.

The company retained RBC Capital Markets LLC and Barclays Capital Inc. to serve as the lead dealer managers and UBS Securities LLC to serve as the co-dealer manager for the offer.
