ConEdison utilities seeking capacity in New York ISO

Consolidated Edison Co. of New York Inc. and Orange and Rockland Utilities Inc. are conducting a request for proposals for capacity.

The procurement period for the Consolidated Edison Inc. subsidiaries is scheduled for Oct. 8. The utilities are seeking financial or physical capacity at up to 800 MW delivered to the New York ISO Location NYC for Con Edison and up to 200 MW delivered to Location GHI, also known as the Lower Hudson Valley and encompassing the ISO's Zones G, H, I and J, for Con Edison and Orange and Rockland.

Planning year 2020 is from May 1, 2020, to April 30, 2021; planning year 2021 is from May 1, 2021, to April 30, 2022; and planning year 2022 is from May 1, 2022, to April 30, 2023.

All suppliers interested in participating in the request for proposals should email SupplyRFP@coned.com. The bidding process will be conducted online, via a web-based electronic-sourcing platform at https://coned.procureport.com.
