Extraction Oil & Gas unit's Badger Central Gathering Facility comes online

Independent oil and gas company Extraction Oil & Gas Inc.'s Denver-based subsidiary Elevation Midstream LLC has started up its Badger Central Gathering Facility, according to an Oct. 3 news release.

Extraction President and acting CEO Matt Owens said in the release that the facility would get a flow of crude oil, natural gas and water from the first wells of the firm's Interchange pad in Broomfield, Colo., in addition to wells from the nearby Coyote Trails pad, through the company's pipeline gathering system.

Elevation Midstream's 2020 capital budget guidance is expected to be about $30 million to $40 million. It will be used to expand the pipeline gathering system to reach additional pads and associated volumes into the Badger facility, the release said.
