Creval sets shareholders' meeting over request to remove board

Credito Valtellinese SpA said on Aug. 29 that it will convene a shareholders' meeting in response to shareholder DGFD SA's call for the removal of the board of directors.

The agenda will also cover the appointment of a new board should the current board be removed. The determination of the new board's term in office and remuneration will also be discussed.

The Italian lender said the meeting will take place Oct. 12.
