Chori Co. Ltd. said its normalized net income for the fiscal third quarter ended Dec. 31, 2014, was ¥44.94 per share, a gain from ¥43.34 per share in the prior-year period.
Normalized net income, which excludes unusual gains or losses on a pre- and after-tax basis, was ¥1.10 billion, an increase from ¥1.06 billion in the year-earlier period.
The normalized profit margin declined to 1.7% from 1.8% in the year-earlier period.
Total revenue increased 9.9% year over year to ¥65.17 billion from ¥59.28 billion, and total operating expenses climbed 10.0% on an annual basis to ¥63.55 billion from ¥57.76 billion.
Reported net income totaled ¥1.04 billion, or ¥42.30 per share, compared to ¥1.04 billion, or ¥42.62 per share, in the prior-year period.
As of Feb. 13, US$1 was equivalent to ¥118.68.
