Deutsche Telekom signs CEO for another 5 years, names new CFO

Deutsche Telekom AG said Feb. 21 that its supervisory board extended CEO Timotheus Höttges' contract for another five years.

In addition, Christian Illek, currently chief human resources officer, will take over as CFO in January 2019, replacing Thomas Dannenfeldt, who will leave the company when his contract expires by 2018-end.

The company has not yet appointed a replacement for Illek's current position.
