Grape King Bio Ltd. said its second-quarter normalized net income was NT$1.64 per share, compared with the S&P Capital IQ consensus estimate of NT$2.48 per share.
EPS increased 28.1% year over year from NT$1.28.
Normalized net income, which excludes unusual gains or losses on a pre- and after-tax basis, was NT$223.2 million, an increase of 33.5% from NT$167.2 million in the year-earlier period.
The normalized profit margin increased to 9.5% from 9.0% in the year-earlier period.
Total revenue climbed 26.5% on an annual basis to NT$2.35 billion from NT$1.86 billion, and total operating expenses grew 25.7% from the prior-year period to NT$1.80 billion from NT$1.43 billion.
Reported net income rose 22.3% from the prior-year period to NT$299.3 million, or NT$2.19 per share, from NT$244.7 million, or NT$1.87 per share.
