Dec. 12

Bradley Winges' appointment as president and CEO of Hilltop Holdings Inc. unit Hilltop Securities Inc. will take effect Feb. 20, 2019.

Previously, Winges was senior executive managing director at Piper Jaffray Cos.

John Marshall & Associates Investment Center joined LPL Financial LLC's broker/dealer and corporate registered investment adviser platforms from Cetera Advisor Networks LLC.

The firm, which comprises of John Marshall, Daniel Sickles and Sean Goldney, managed approximately $185 million of client brokerage and advisory assets.

A Morgan Stanley adviser, Arturo Montemayor, left the company to join JPMorgan Private Bank, a unit of JPMorgan Chase & Co., in New York, Citywire Americas reported.

Adam Graf was named a senior mining analyst and managing director in B. Riley FBR Inc.'s research division.

Graf earlier was a mining and commodities expert for McKinsey & Co.'s proprietary market intelligence and modeling tool, MineSpans.

Dec. 10

Greenhill & Co. Inc. appointed Dacre Barrett-Lennard as managing director and co-head of Europe, the Middle East and Africa financing advisory and restructuring.

Barrett-Lennard, who previously was Rothschild & Co. Continuation Ltd.'s managing director, will join in February 2019.

Dec. 7

D.A. Davidson & Co. appointed Scott Isherwood as a managing director in its investment banking team in New York.

Previously, Isherwood was a managing director and head of industrial group at Seaport Global Securities LLC and founding partner, managing director and head of industrial group at Morgan Joseph.

Kevin DeGeeter joined Oppenheimer & Co. Inc. as a managing director and senior analyst in the company's life sciences research team.

Prior to this role, DeGeeter served as a managing director at Ladenburg Thalmann Financial Services Inc.

A team of five advisers, managing $225 million in client assets, joined LPL Financial Holdings Inc. from PNC Investments LLC, Investment News reported.

The team, which comprises of Tom Becker, Steve Pollock, Jane Rocks, Robert Litwin and Michael Schneider, will align with Gladstone Advisors Inc. and LPL Financial's broker/dealer and corporate registered investment adviser platforms.

Ted Eliopoulos was named vice chairman and head of strategic partnerships at Morgan Stanley's investment management unit in New York, Institutional Investor reported.

Eliopoulos most recently was California Public Employees' Retirement System's chief investment officer.

Baird Financial Corp. hired a five-person team to join its new wealth management office in St. Louis, Investment News reported.

The team, which comprises of Richard Fisher, Dan Sullivan, William Wilcox, Donna Brandmeyer and Marianne Dennie, previously worked at Oppenheimer Holdings Inc.
