VICI Properties Inc. closed its previously announced acquisition of three Eldorado Resorts Inc. property assets for a total aggregate amount of $1.81 billion, according to Sept. 26 regulatory filing.
The New York-based real estate investor bought the land and real estate assets associated with Harrah's New Orleans for $775.5 million, Harrah's Laughlin in Nevada for $434.8 million and Harrah's Atlantic City in New Jersey for $599.3 million.
The transactions are subject to the completion of the $17.3 billion merger deal between Eldorado Resorts and Caesars Entertainment Corp.
Eldorado previously said it intends to use the proceeds to partially finance the merger, which is expected to close in the first half of 2020, subject to regulatory approvals and customary closing conditions.
