Capital Dynamics acquires solar farm in Nevada

Capital Dynamics Inc. on Jan. 9 announced the acquisition of the Eagle Shadow Mountain solar farm on the Moapa River Indian Reservation in Clark County, Nev.

8minute Solar Energy LLC is contracted to develop and deploy the solar facility, which is scheduled for completion and inauguration by the end of 2021.

Once completed, the solar facility will have a capacity of 300 MWac/387 MWdc and is expected to generate more than 900,000 MWh of renewable energy per year.

Output from the facility will be sold to Berkshire Hathaway Energy utility NV Energy Inc. under a long-term power purchase agreement.
