Simonds Farsons Cisk fiscal H1 profit climbs YOY

Simonds Farsons Cisk PLC said its normalized net income for the fiscal first half ended July 31 amounted to 9 euro cents per share, a gain from 8 cents per share in the prior-year period.

Normalized net income, which excludes unusual gains or losses on a pre- and after-tax basis, was €2.6 million, an increase from €2.5 million in the prior-year period.

Total revenue increased on an annual basis to €41.1 million from €40.7 million, and total operating expenses increased on an annual basis to €36.2 million from €35.8 million.

Reported net income increased from the prior-year period to €4.0 million, or 13 cents per share, from €3.8 million, or 13 cents per share.
