State Bank of India director steps down

State Bank of India said Pravin Hari Kutumbe stepped down as a director on its board, effective March 8.

The move comes as Kutumbe opted for voluntary retirement from Life Insurance Corp. of India due to his appointment as a full-time member for finance and investment at the Insurance Regulatory and Development Authority of India, according to a March 12 filing.
