Ci:z Holdings Co. Ltd. said its normalized net income for the fiscal second quarter ended Jan. 31 came to ¥26.26 per share, a decrease of 17.7% from ¥31.91 per share in the year-earlier period.
Normalized net income, which excludes unusual gains or losses on a pre- and after-tax basis, was ¥1.31 billion, a decrease of 17.8% from ¥1.59 billion in the prior-year period.
The normalized profit margin declined to 12.8% from 16.6% in the year-earlier period.
Total revenue climbed 6.3% on an annual basis to ¥10.17 billion from ¥9.57 billion, and total operating expenses grew 15.2% year over year to ¥8.12 billion from ¥7.05 billion.
Reported net income decreased 14.7% year over year to ¥1.34 billion, or ¥26.95 per share, from ¥1.57 billion, or ¥31.55 per share.
