Tamul Multimedia Co. Ltd said its normalized net income for the first quarter came to a loss of 12.84 South Korean won per share, compared with 69 chon per share in the prior-year period.
Normalized net income, which excludes unusual gains or losses on a pre- and after-tax basis, was a loss of 82.4 million won, compared with income of 4.4 million won in the prior-year period.
The normalized profit margin declined to negative 1.4% from 0.1% in the year-earlier period.
Total revenue decreased on an annual basis to 6.00 billion won from 6.14 billion won, and total operating expenses fell from the prior-year period to 6.11 billion won from 6.17 billion won.
Reported net income came to a loss of 214.5 million won, or a loss of 33.40 won per share, compared to a loss of 75.8 million won, or a loss of 12.00 won per share, in the year-earlier period.
As of May 11, US$1 was equivalent to 1,163.58 South Korean won.
