Russia's Antipinsky Oil Refinery CJSC has filed for bankruptcy following a London court's order to freeze its assets due to a lawsuit filed by Russian trading house VTB Commodities Trading, according to a May 20 report from Reuters.
The refinery halted operations a number of times in recent months due to lack of funds to pay for crude oil deliveries, the report said. It has a capacity of 9 million tonnes per year.
In April, a London court issued a worldwide order to freeze the refinery's assets amounting to €225 million.
