U.K.-based private equity firm Terra Firma Capital Partners Ltd. is looking to buy Kier Living Ltd. and is among the remaining bidders for the business, Sky News reported.
The homebuilding unit of Kier Group PLC could sell for about £150 million based on analyst estimates, although Terra Firma is believed to have bid a lower sum, the news outlet noted.
Kier Group, which saw its market value drop by almost 80% over the past year, is also expected to sell its Kier Property Developments Ltd. The two units together reportedly could sell for about £200 million. The company is expected to update investors on the sale of Kier Living in early 2020.
Neither Kier nor Terra Firma commented on the matter, according to Sky News.
