China names new vice finance minister, removes senior securities regulator

China's State Council appointed Liao Min to replace Zhu Guangyao as vice finance minister and removed Jiang Yang as vice chairman of the China Securities Regulatory Commission, according to a statement issued by the country's human resources ministry on June 1.

Meanwhile, authorities removed Huang Danhua as deputy director of State-owned Assets Supervision and Administration Commission. The statement did not specify the reasons for the removals.
