MYM Nutraceuticals Inc. closed a deal to buy assets from Budly Software Inc. for about C$1.9 million, payable in 800,000 common shares.
The U.S.-based software company, known as the Uber for medical cannabis, developed a smartphone application that connects patients with local dispensary drivers for fast delivery and monitoring of medicinal cannabis orders.
Canada-based medicinal cannabis producer MYM had signed a letter of intent to acquire Budly on Jan. 5.
"The Budly software brings MYM one step closer to becoming a fully integrated global cannabis company," said MYM CEO Rob Gietl.
