AC SA Q3 profit climbs 27.4% YOY

AC Spólka Akcyjna said its normalized net income for the third quarter amounted to 73 groszy per share, a gain of 26.0% from 58 groszy per share in the year-earlier period.

Normalized net income, which excludes unusual gains or losses on a pre- and after-tax basis, was 7.1 million zlotys, an increase of 27.4% from 5.6 million zlotys in the year-earlier period.

The normalized profit margin climbed to 14.1% from 13.0% in the year-earlier period.

Total revenue rose 17.5% on an annual basis to 50.5 million zlotys from 43.0 million zlotys, and total operating expenses climbed 14.4% from the prior-year period to 39.0 million zlotys from 34.1 million zlotys.

Reported net income grew 23.8% from the prior-year period to 8.8 million zlotys, or 90 groszy per share, from 7.1 million zlotys, or 73 groszy per share.

As of Nov. 3, US$1 was equivalent to 3.90 zlotys.
