Aura Energy ups vanadium resource at Haggan project in Sweden

Aura Energy Ltd. outlined a new resource at its Haggan vanadium project in central Sweden of 2 billion tonnes at 0.3% vanadium pentoxide, or V2O5, containing 13.33 billion pounds of V2O5 at a 0.2% cutoff.

The estimate comprises an indicated resource of 320 million pounds and an inferred resource of 13.01 billion pounds.

At a lower 0.10% V2O5 cutoff, the resource increased to 15.21 billion pounds of V2O5, from 15.1 billion pounds of V2O5 in the May 2018 estimate.

The resource includes a coherent zone of mineralization of 42 million tonnes at more than 0.35% V2O5 in the indicated category, called the Northwest high-grade zone, which is open in all horizontal directions.

The estimate is based on 16,500 meters of diamond drilling in 91 holes.
