Standard Chartered PLC appointed Samrat Khosla head of its wealth management business in India, effective Feb. 1, The Economic Times reported Jan. 13.
Khosla will replace Nitin Singh, who is leaving the company to pursue other opportunities.
Khosla joined Standard Chartered in 2003 and was most recently the head of life insurance at the bank.
In his new role, he will report to Zarin Daruwala, CEO of Standard Chartered Bank of India, and Sumeet Bhambri, the regional head of wealth management, ASEAN and South Asia, and head of wealth management, Singapore, according to the report.
