FDIC terminates consent order against Navient Solutions

Effective March 23, the FDIC terminated the consent order and order for restitution issued against Navient Corp. unit Navient Solutions Inc., now Navient Solutions LLC.

The orders were terminated with no conditions.

The orders were part of a 2014 settlement with the company related to violations of the Servicemembers Civil Relief Act or SCRA, and of federal laws that prohibit unfair and deceptive practices related to student loans. The FDIC also terminated a consent order and order for restitution against Sallie Mae Bank.
