Diversified property developer Dexus is planning to incorporate a A$200 million creative precinct at its Lakes Business Park development in the Botany suburb of Sydney, The Australian Financial Review reported.
Construction of the planned Botany Quarter project will involve the repurposing of two existing buildings within Lakes Business Park, according to the paper. The development, upon its completion, will have a total of three buildings providing 24,300 square meters of space for over 200 strata of office, retail, industrial and storage units.
Aside from office suites, warehouses, food and beverage outlets and retail suites, Botany Quarter will also feature parkland and other amenities, such as a proposed on-site gym and childcare facility, the May 28 report noted.
Dexus, which has a A$4.2 billion project pipeline, tapped Colliers International South Sydney to help market the strata units in Botany Quarter that are being offered for rent or sale, according to the report.
