ONGC moves 29 mobile offshore drilling rigs ahead of monsoon season

Indian oil and gas producer Oil and Natural Gas Corp. Ltd. moved 29 mobile offshore drilling rigs ahead of the monsoon season.

The 29 rigs have been placed at their respective monsoon locations, the company said in a June 13 news release.

Aqualis ASA's subsidiary Aqualis Offshore, Inc. assisted Oil and Natural Gas Corp.'s in-house rig move cell for a majority of the rig moves.

Under the agreement, Aqualis Offshore provides marine warranty services to the company's fleet of jack-ups and mobile offshore production units in Indian waters.
