DYNAM Japan Holdings fiscal H2 profit falls YOY

4988427 said its normalized net income for the fiscal second half ended March 31 was ¥4.10 per share, a decrease of 66.7% from ¥12.32 per share in the year-earlier period.

Normalized net income, which excludes unusual gains or losses on a pre- and after-tax basis, was ¥3.05 billion, a decline of 66.7% from ¥9.15 billion in the prior-year period.

Total revenue decreased 11.6% on an annual basis to ¥73.87 billion from ¥83.59 billion, and total operating expenses came to ¥69.90 billion, compared with ¥69.34 billion in the year-earlier period.

Reported net income fell 79.3% year over year to ¥2.26 billion, or ¥3.05 per share, from ¥10.94 billion, or ¥14.73 per share.

For the year, the company's normalized net income totaled ¥17.73 per share, a decrease of 31.4% from ¥25.84 per share in the prior year.

Normalized net income was ¥13.17 billion, a fall of 31.4% from ¥19.19 billion in the prior year.

Full-year total revenue declined 6.8% from the prior-year period to ¥154.56 billion from ¥165.75 billion, and total operating expenses totaled ¥134.98 billion, compared with ¥135.64 billion in the year-earlier period.

The company said reported net income decreased 46.8% on an annual basis to ¥11.30 billion, or ¥15.22 per share, in the full year, from ¥21.25 billion, or ¥28.61 per share.
