Banco BPM names new CFO as part of organizational revamp

Banco BPM SpA appointed Edoardo Ginevra its new CFO as part of an overhaul of its organizational structure.

Ginevra has been head of the bank's nonperforming loan division since 2017. The bank also named loan division head Carlo Bianchi its new chief lending officer.

The change in the bank's organizational structure follows the resignation of General Manager Maurizio Faroni earlier in May. Faroni is among current and former Banco BPM managers targeted in an investigation by Milan prosecutors into alleged fraud related to the sales of diamonds through banks.
