Calif. regulator OKs North County CU charter expansion

The State of California Department of Business Oversight approved North County Credit Union's application to expand its community charter.

As of April 18, the San Diego-based credit union was allowed to expand its membership to include persons who live, regularly work or worship, or currently attend school in the whole of San Diego County, Calif.

The credit union was previously only allowed to service residents of California's greater Rancho Bernardo area, according to a news release posted on CUInsight.com.
