Apex Resources Inc. acquired an additional 160.4-hectare mineral tenure at its Wild silver-gold project in British Columbia's Golden Triangle, bringing the total property holding to 4,886.85 hectares, it said May 31.
The newly acquired mineral tenure overlies two historical precious metal showings situated along an apparent northwest trending structure that can be traced for 8.0 kilometers across the Wild property.
Along with two other properties, Cloud and Eldorado, which are also owned by Apex, the company now holds about 10,000 hectares of mineral tenures in the area.
Apex recently completed airborne magnetic and VTEM geophysical surveys on the Cloud and Eldorado properties to help define the targets for ground follow-up this year. Results of the surveys are expected by early June.
