Davenport Resources Ltd has declared an inferred resource of 1.7 billion tonnes grading 9.69% potassium oxide for 165 million contained tonnes at the Nohra-Elende sub-area within its South Harz potash property in Germany.
This brings the total inferred resource at its Ebeleben and Mühlhausen-Nohra mining licences to around 3.40 billion tonnes grading 10.5% K2O, for 358.8 million contained tonnes.
The company said Nov. 13 that the Nohra-Elende resource comprises sylvinite at 101 million tonnes grading 14.19% K2O for 14 million contained tonnes and carnallitite at 1.60 billion tonnes grading 9.41% K2O for 150 million contained tonnes.
Devenport is looking to upgrade its inferred resources to the indicated category through exploration drilling in the first half of 2019. It will then look to complete an economic study by the end of that year.
