Moelis & Co. hires Chlystek to advise food, agribusiness clients

Moelis & Co. is hiring a managing director from JPMorgan Chase & Co. to advise food and agribusiness clients.

Moelis said Sept. 4 that Matt Chlystek will join the company in November. Chlystek will come to the company's Chicago office after working at J.P. Morgan's Global Consumer & Retail Investment Banking division, Moelis said in a statement.

Chlystek's "broad experience and deep global relationships across the food and agribusiness sectors" appealed to the bank, Moelis Co-President, co-founder, founding partner, Managing Director and director Navid Mahmoodzadegan said in the statement.

Before working at J.P. Morgan, Chlystek advised clients in the consumer industry at Bank of America. That followed a position as a management consultant at Andersen Consulting.
