EU votes to move 2 agencies from London

The EU is relocating two of its major agencies to France and the Netherlands from London, following Brexit, Property Week reported Nov. 21.

The European Banking Authority will relocate to Paris and the European Medicines Agency is moving to Amsterdam. Voting to select the new destinations was carried out on the basis of six criteria, which the 27 EU member states agreed upon.

The two agencies employ a total of 1,000 people at the Canary Wharf offices.
