Gfoot Co. Ltd. said its normalized net income for the fiscal second quarter ended Aug. 31 came to ¥512.5 million, compared with ¥514.4 million in the year-earlier period.
Normalized net income excludes unusual gains or losses on a pre- and after-tax basis.
The normalized profit margin fell to 2.1% from 2.1% in the year-earlier period.
Total revenue grew on an annual basis to ¥24.62 billion from ¥24.23 billion, and total operating expenses rose on an annual basis to ¥23.80 billion from ¥23.41 billion.
Reported net income came to ¥446.0 million, compared with ¥505.0 million, or ¥12.12 per share, in the prior-year period.
As of Oct. 15, US$1 was equivalent to ¥106.21.
