The French economy is expected to grow 0.3% in the third quarter, according to the Banque de France's first estimate, a slight uptick from the 0.2% expansion seen in the prior quarter.
Business sentiment in the manufacturing, services and construction sectors was unchanged in July from June.
The French central bank had trimmed its GDP growth outlook by 0.1 percentage point to 1.3% for 2019. It also warned that the country's government deficit was likely to temporarily breach the EU's limit this year.
