India's ONGC reports increase in profit for FY'19

Oil and Natural Gas Corp. Ltd. reported a profit of 267.16 billion Indian rupees for the fiscal year ended March 31, 2019, up significantly from the 199.45 billion rupees seen during the fiscal year ended March 31, 2018.

In a May 30 filing with the Bombay Stock Exchange, the Indian integrated oil and gas company reported a total income of 1.17 trillion rupees for the year compared to the 928.89 billion rupees posted for the year ended March 31, 2018.

Total expenses for the fiscal year came in at 772.20 billion rupees, up from the 639.95 billion rupees in the year ended March 31, 2018.

As of May 29, US$1 was equivalent to 69.87 Indian rupees.
