Former GAM exec joins Zürcher Kantonalbank; Woodford fund makes board change

S&P Global Market Intelligence presents a daily roundup of management and board changes at financial institutions in Europe. This feature excludes C-level leadership changes and previously reported stories.

Zürcher Kantonalbank

* Zürcher Kantonalbank unit Swisscanto Holding AG appointed Enzo Puntillo to oversee the expansion of emerging market debt at its fixed income business, finews.com reported, citing a memo.

Puntillo previously served as a lead fund manager for emerging markets fixed income at GAM Holding AG.

As part of his new role, Puntillo will report to Benno Weber, head of fixed income at Zürcher Kantonalbank.

Zürcher Kantonalbank acquired wealth manager Swisscanto Holding AG in 2015.

Woodford Patient Capital Trust

* Woodford Patient Capital Trust PLC appointed Raymond Abbott an independent nonexecutive director, effective Oct. 1.

Abbott was recently named chair of the advisory panel for the North East Fund.

The appointment comes as Louise Makin intends to step down as a nonexecutive director of Woodford Patient Capital Trust's board.
