Asmo fiscal Q1 profit falls YOY

Asmo Corp. said its normalized net income for the fiscal first quarter ended June 30 came to ¥10.68 per share, a decrease of 49.8% from ¥21.28 per share in the year-earlier period.

Normalized net income, which excludes unusual gains or losses on a pre- and after-tax basis, was ¥149.8 million, a decrease of 49.8% from ¥298.4 million in the year-earlier period.

The normalized profit margin declined to 3.6% from 9.1% in the year-earlier period.

Total revenue grew 26.4% on an annual basis to ¥4.15 billion from ¥3.29 billion, and total operating expenses grew 40.5% from the prior-year period to ¥3.91 billion from ¥2.78 billion.
