Empresa Agrícola San Juan SA said its second-quarter normalized net income came to 72,500 soles, compared with a loss of 20,630 soles in the prior-year period.

Normalized net income excludes unusual gains or losses on a pre- and after-tax basis.

The normalized profit margin increased to 1.8% from negative 0.2% in the year-earlier period.

Total revenue fell 54.1% year over year to 4.1 million soles from 8.9 million soles, and total operating expenses decreased 58.2% year over year to 3.6 million soles from 8.7 million soles.

Reported net income totaled 116,000 soles, or 0 céntimos per share, compared to a loss of 33,000 soles, or a loss of 0 céntimos per share, in the year-earlier period.
