Emerson agrees to acquire Triton's pneumatics business in €527M deal

Technology and engineering company Emerson Electric Co. said it agreed to buy pneumatic components and systems provider Aventics from private equity firm Triton for €527 million.

The buyer said Aventics operates five manufacturing locations and posted 2017 sales of $425 million.

"We will now offer the industry's widest range of fluid automation products and solutions with unmatched delivery, reliability and performance, and now with the addition of Aventics' expertise, Emerson is positioned to be the most capable global company when it comes to fluid automation technologies," said Emerson Chairman and CEO David Farr.
