Raymond James nabs adviser team from UBS Financial

An adviser team managing $480 million in client assets have left UBS Financial Services Inc. to form the Palm Avenue Wealth Advisory Group of Raymond James, InvestmentNews of New York reported May 25.

The Sarasota, Fla.-based team is comprised of Dean Dancer, Thomas Goelz, Steven Grossman and Joe Malave. The four investment advisers registered with Raymond James & Associates Inc. in May, according to the Financial Industry Regulatory Authority's BrokerCheck website.

Dancer, Goelz and Grossman started working at UBS Financial in March 2009, according to BrokerCheck. Malave began working at UBS Financial in June 2011.
