Agricultural Bank of China posts 4.9% YOY rise in FY'17 net profit

Agricultural Bank of China Ltd. reported a 4.9% year-over-year increase in net profit for the 2017 full year.

The bank posted full-year 2017 consolidated net profit attributable to equity holders of 192.96 billion yuan, up from 183.94 billion yuan in the prior-year period. EPS rose to 58 fen from 55 fen.

The S&P Capital IQ consensus mean estimate for both full-year 2017 normalized and GAAP EPS was 58 fen for Hong Kong-listed shares.

As of March 23, US$1 was equivalent to 6.31 Chinese yuan.
