Kinder Morgan starts binding open season for additional capacity on SFPP system

Kinder Morgan Inc. announced May 23 that it launched a binding open season to ask for commitments to expand a part of its SFPP LP system by about 7,500 barrels per day in incremental capacity.

The additional capacity, which will be provided by expanded pump capability at SFPP's El Paso Station in Texas, will be used to transport Mexican-grade gasoline and diesel from El Paso to SFPP's Annex Terminal in Tucson, Ariz.

The full expansion capacity will be in service by Feb. 1, 2020, pending a successful open season.
