Monex Group makes board, management changes

Japan's Monex Group Inc. appointed Akira Inoue an executive director on its board, effective Jan. 22.

Inoue was also named general manager of the group's financial control department, while Satoshi Hasuo was appointed general manager of its finance department. Both appointments are effective Feb. 1.

In addition, Hiroshi Aikawa was appointed as an executive director of the group's unit, Monex Inc., also effective Feb.1 .

The group also noted that it will abolish its investment business office on Feb. 1.
