Banco do Estado de Sergipe declares interest on own capital

Shareholders of Brazil's Banco do Estado de Sergipe SA approved the payment of interest on own capital, related to the first half of 2018, worth about 10.3 million reais.

The payment is equivalent to a net amount of 54.52 centavos per common share and 59.97 centavos per preferred share, the bank said in a statement.

The interest on own capital will be paid June 25 and will be based on the shareholding position as of June 13.

Shares will be traded ex-interest on capital from June 14.

As of June 7, US$1 was equivalent to 3.91 Brazilian reais.
