A wholly owned unit of Gazit-Globe Ltd. wrapped up its sale of roughly 1.7 million Regency Centers Corp. ordinary shares for roughly $101 million.
The shares represent around 1.0% of the shopping center-focused retail real estate investment trust's share capital.
In addition, the unit also sold 740,000 Regency shares for about $48 million from Jan. 10 through Jan. 26.
After the disposals, Gazit-Globe, which owns, manages and develops properties retail properties, continues to hold almost 16.0 million shares of Regency common stock, representing about 9.3% of the outstanding share capital in the company.
